October 11-12, 2010. Tom Williard, Principal at Sage Renewables moderated the Legislative Issues session and delivered presentations on best practices for implementing community college solar PV projects and PPA financing costs at the Green California Community College Summit.  

The talk, titled Financing Green Building Projects, was developed for community college district administrators, who are often bombarded by the public and vendors about the desirability of solar power and energy conservation systems for their district. The discussion as to whether to use these systems, and if so, the type and size of the system often depends on the consideration of a number of issues, one of the most important being financial considerations.
