Energy Evaluations and Management

The first step in any energy-related project is an energy evaluation. For existing facilities, we evaluate your historical, current and planned energy usage. We analyze at least two years of energy usage data and conduct a detailed energy audit of your facility and equipment. In addition, we collect information from employees and facility managers to optimize ease-of-function and system responsiveness. Sage then works with you to establish your goals for energy management and generation. The process includes documenting:

  • Facility sources and energy end uses;
  • Historical and individual facility energy usage profiles and end use evaluations;
  • Various energy management opportunities (EMOs) to increase efficiency and functionality;
  • Design parameters and high-level cost analysis of appropriate renewable generation technologies; and
  • Financial analysis of EMOs and identification of applicable incentives and rebates.

For new development, Sage evaluates building design, processes, and equipment selection for energy efficiency and integration of renewable energy generation. We utilize energy modeling software to benchmark expected building performance and provide LEED® certified expertise to the design team.

Sage works with you to develop a strategic energy management plan to achieve and maintain your goals and objectives. We work exclusively with reputable contractors to implement energy efficiency measures and professionally execute the energy management plan.
