Ilan has 8 years experience in renewable energy. His project and business development work has included solar project finance, financial modeling, energy usage and generation modeling, utility tariff analysis, renewable energy resource assessments and feasibility, and sales. Prior to joining Sage, Ilan worked for a leading solar contractor and focused on providing financing solutions for his clients through a network of strategic relationships. Ilan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Washington, Seattle, is a member of the California Solar Energy Industries Association (Cal-SEIA) and the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), and holds a certificate in PV Design and Installation from the Solar Living Institute.
Dana has 22 years of experience as an Environmental Consultant, including 15 years as a senior project manager (PM) and principal investigator (PI). As PM and PI, she led multi-disciplinary, multi-organizational teams engaged in rigorous applied research studies for government agencies, non-profits, and private consortia. Her research topics focused on air quality as it relates to greenhouse gases, toxic air pollutants, and criteria air pollutants; and her projects included complex air pollutant monitoring studies, emission inventories, air quality analyses and modeling exercises, and development of related applications. Highlights include project management on the US Forest Service BlueSky Systems (decision-support systems that model the air quality impacts of prescribed and wildfires); efforts to reduce oil and gas industry emissions; and various measurement studies, including the deployment of mobile instruments on Google StreetView vehicles.
Dana is an accomplished scientific author. She has co-authored a number of peer-reviewed works; developed technical guidance documents on behalf of the U.S. EPA, California Air Resources Board, and Caltrans; and delivered numerous public presentations and research briefings. Selections from her published work are available at ResearchGate.net (www.researchgate.net/ profile/Dana_Coe).

Construction and Operations Manager
Mr. Moore has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, and has spent the last decade in the solar industry developing, designing and constructing commercial PV systems. Working with various solar EPCs, utilities, school districts and government agencies, Scott has implemented numerous commercial and industrial PV systems in California, Nevada and Hawaii. Scott provides invaluable project development insight during conceptual system design, system specification, cost estimating, design review, construction and commissioning. His role includes troubleshooting operational systems and ensuring that projects and portfolios meet or exceed contract terms and specifications. Mr. Moore coordinates with project stakeholders to execute the closeout process and provide document control as projects move from construction to operations.
Mr. Guttikonda is an energy engineer and urban planner with three years of interdisciplinary research experience in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of renewables, urban scale energy systems and sustainability strategies. Prior to joining Sage, he worked on complex techno-socio-economic consulting projects for a state utility company in India that were aimed at reducing technical and financial losses, and improving energy efficiency in agricultural electricity supply and consumption. He also spent some time in Germany, assisting with technical and economic evaluations of various renewable technologies for a community energy planning project.
James is a programmer with a background in applied mathematics and physics. He has worked with machine learning algorithms for the ATLAS project at CERN, and utilized Python to simulate particle showers. He earned his B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Sonoma State University, where he conducted research involving the electromagnetic properties of single crystals and analyzation of defects on thin films.
Sam has 15 years of experience as an engineer, consultant, project manager and executive in the water resources, hazardous waste, recycling and environmental services industries. Prior to joining Sage, he lived and worked in Singapore, where he focused on developing and directing business operations in the Southeast Asia region for a local firm in the environmental and waste services industries. His past experience includes acquiring and restructuring a hazardous waste management firm with operations across the US and Asia Pacific. Prior to that he founded and operated a consultancy focused on facilities engineering and management services for the semiconductor industry. Sameer has a B.S. and M.S. in Environmental Engineering, as well as an MBA from the University of Chicago.
